Sharing private folders with other users

How to share a private folder on your Conformio account

Step 1 – Accessing project Files section

Please access the project where you want a new private folder shared, and then navigate to the Files tab.

Step 2 – Sharing a private folder via Share option

Once you are on the project Files list, please find the folder you want to share and right-click to open the file management options. From the options list, select “Share.”

Step 3 – Sharing a private folder via Invite option

A private folder can be shared with another user via the “Access to this folder > Invite” option.

Step 4 – Selecting user and access permissions

After you select the “Share” option from the file management drop-down, a sharing window will open. Select the user you want to have access to the private folder, and select the type of access this user should have while on the folder.

Step 5 – Understanding user access roles

A user can have the following access roles:

  1. Editor
  2. Author
  3. Viewer Uploader
  4. Viewer
