Carlos Pereira da Cruz is the author of several books about strategy, the balanced scorecard, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001. He has 30 years of experience helping various organizations including industrial, healthcare, and service companies in the implementation of management systems. He holds numerous certificates, among them ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.

His main concern has been incorporating a business point of view with a strong focus on results, when implementing or reviewing management systems.

He has an MSc in Chemical Engineering and a post-graduation on Quality Engineering from CEQUAL.
