Privacy Notice for Experta chatbot

1. What we need

Advisera Expert Solutions Ltd is a Controller of the personal data you (Data Subject) provide to us. We collect the following types of personal data about you:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Job role

Experta will not ask you to enter any personal data in a conversation or on the feedback form, and we do not encourage entering such data on your own initiative.

2. Why we need it

We need your personal data to provide you with the following services:

  • To maintain your account at Experta chatbot
  • To send you email notifications about your Experta chatbot account
  • If you provide us with explicit consent, to send you links to materials related to Experta chatbot

We do not use your personal data for training the Experta chatbot. We use OpenAI’s API service for generating responses based on user prompts, and OpenAI will not use this data to train their models either, according to their usage policies: https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies

3. What we do with it

Your personal data will be hosted and stored using services like DigitalOcean and HubSpot on servers that are located in the European Union and the United States, as well as other countries that might not have the adequacy decision of the European Union; other third-party contractors may have access to your data only for the purpose specified in the previous section – the access of such third parties is strictly controlled. We will use OpenAI’s API service for generating responses based on user prompts, and OpenAI will retain this data for 30 days, but will not use it to train their models.

Whenever we send data to countries that do not provide the same level of protection as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we will use appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data, including but not limited to Standard Contractual Clauses for Processors.

4. How long we keep it

Any personal data held by us will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive any information from us.

5. What are your rights?

You can unsubscribe from any type of Advisera email message by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of an email.

Should you believe that any personal data we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you can request to see this information, rectify it, or delete it. To exercise these rights, please get in touch with us at this email address: support@advisera.com.

If you wish to complain about how we have handled your personal data, please contact us at support@advisera.com. We will investigate your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.

If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you can contact the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency and file a complaint with them.
