With regard to TLD name registries, an incident shall be considered significant under Article 3(1)(g) where it fulfils one or more of the following criteria:
- an authoritative domain name resolution service is completely unavailable;
- for a period of more than one hour, the average response time of an authoritative domain name resolution service to DNS requests is more than 10 seconds,
- the integrity, confidentiality or authenticity of stored, transmitted or processed data related to the technical operation of the TLD is compromised.
